WHO WE ARE; OUR VALUES

Earth Lines is strongly committed to delivering high quality architecture and design solutions. Our Bali architects evaluate every project individually; motivated by the client’s style and vision as well as our core values as the driving force behind every mark.

Our design philosophy is characterised by a strong relationship with the natural environment and a very considered user experience and layout organisation. We are stimulated by the interaction of internal and exterior spaces and always encourage a feeling of fun. A raw luxury; when you refine something whilst preserving its natural beauty.

MAKING CONSCIOUS MARKS

Our goal is for each individual project to feel fitting in its rich context through details in both architecture and interiors. Whilst we provide contemporary and international perspectives, we also want to ensure that we create a local connection conceptually, aesthetically and through the construction process.

PHASE 1: CONCEPT

PHASE 1:
CONCEPT

During the concept phase, we analyse topography of the site using a land survey while researching style ideas and concepts that can be applied to design. This is followed by sketch drawing and layouts with client reviews and amendments to produce mood boards, master plans, general sections and elevations, 3D and visualisation.

The purpose of concept design is to clearly define your requirements and to give the project its soul through preliminary selections of materials and finishings.

PHASE 2: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

PHASE 2:
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

At the design development phase, we refine the approved concept into working drawings, with documents and imagery to visualise the design intent. We will also start coordinating with other consultants including Structural Engineers, MEP Consultants,

Pool Specialists and IMB applications. Detailed drawing development includes minor reviews and refinement, built-in furniture, vanity designs as well as specifications for hardware, fixtures, fittings, sanitary-ware, lighting, hardscape, final materials and other key-features.

PHASE 3: DOCUMENTATION

PHASE 3:
DOCUMENTATION

During the documentation phase, a selected
contractor will prepare detailed technical drawings at an appropriate scale to support local methods of building. We will help to combine all the information from other consultants into the final set of drawings. This will be checked by our architects for approval throughout construction.

PHASE 4: SITE SUPERVISION

PHASE 4:
SITE SUPERVISION

We highly recommend site supervision – an optional extra. During the building phase, we try to schedule weekly visits (depending on the complexity of site stage or progress).

Supervision includes physical and digital coordination of drawings, quality control on site, problem solving, meetings with Bali contractors clients to ensure the best aesthetic outcome is achieved within budget.

PHASE 5: INTERIOR DESIGN EXTRAS

PHASE 5:
INTERIOR DESIGN EXTRAS

We offer furniture design and interior styling as part of our interior design services. This includes detailed drawings for built-in and loose furniture such as kitchen design, wardrobes, storage and shelving design.
